PINK ZONE basketball game at Brandywine Campus

The Penn State Brandywine Women's basketball team will be playing host to the Penn State Fayette Women's basketball team on February 11 at 1 PM.
T shirts will be sold at the Penn State Bookstore and at the game with proceeds to benefit Pink Zone, a breast cancer research fund.
Adult t-shirts are $15 (with $5 being donated) and youth t-shirts are $10 (with $2 being donated).
Come out and support women's athletics at Penn State and the very worthy cause of the Pink Zone Organization.

Brandywine Campus sponsors "Night with the Pride"

Penn State Brandywine will host its 4th annual “A Night with the Pride” Beef ’n‘ Beverage event to bring together friends of Penn State and raise money for the campus at 6:30 PM on Friday, Feb. 24 at the Ballrooms at Boothwyn.

The event, which is open to the public, will feature dinner, entertainment and a raffle of more than 50 baskets. Guests could go home with shore rentals in Avalon, N.J. or Ocean City, Md., and Phillies or Flyers tickets. Proceeds will benefit the Tiz Griffith Athletics Fund and the Global Programs at the campus. Admission to the event is $25.

Spring Soiree for Penn State Brandywine

The Campus' Spring Soiree is scheduled for Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford. This exciting event benefits the Student Scholarship Fund. Cocktail attire is suggested. For more information visit www.bw.psu.edu/springevent

Alumni Town Hall Meetings with President Erickson

Alumni will have a chance to have their questions answered and raise their concerns in person at a town hall-style meetings with Penn State President Rodney Erickson on Jan. 12
This “Alumni Town Hall Meeting” will be 7:00–9:00 p.m., at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge.

The event is free and open to all alumni and friends. To make sure that all attendees are accommodated, alumni are asked to register online. Walk ins will be admitted if space is available.

Tailgate at Maggie O'Neill's for Ticket City Bowl January 2 at noon

Maggie O'Neill's will be the site of the tailgate for the Bowl game. Join the Chapter in Drexel Hill to watch the game and enjoy the company of your fellow alumni and friends.

Nittany Lion Basketball vs. St. Joseph's - November 26th

The Nittany Lion basketball team will be visiting St. Joseph's. The game is at the Hagan Arena, on Saturday, November 26th. Tipoff time is 3:30 p.m.

Liberty Ball to benefit THON

The Philadelphia Chapter is once again sponsoring the Liberty Ball to benefit THON. It will be held at the Camden Aquarium on February 25th. Tickets and further information are available at wwwlibertyball.org.

5K Run and 1 Mile Walk at Penn State Day

There will be a 5K run and 1 mile walk held Saturday in conjunction with the Brandywine Campus' Penn State Day. Proceeds will benefit the scholarship funds of this Chapter and of the Campus Alumni Society. Registration is at 9 with the run/walk beginning at 10. The walk is stroller friendly. The run is on a true cross country course on campus.
Preregistration is $25 at http://tinyurl.com/5w7tty4. Day of event registration is $30. Students with a student ID pay $10.

Brandywine Volleyball Team Hosts "Dig Pink"

On Saturday, Oct.1, the campus' women's volleyball team will host the "Dig Pink" fundraiser, which will feature a quad match between Brandywine, Penn College, and the Hazelton and Schuylkill campuses beginning at noon. All donations made at the event will benefit the Side-Out Foundation, which awards grants to medical research organizations dedicated to providing compassionate support for breast cancer patients.
